This place is for the ones who cry at sunsets and dance in the rain. Who splash in the ocean fully clothed and feel zero regret. Who lie on open roads staring at the stars thinking this is it. Who pick wildflowers on the way home just because the kitchen needed something alive in it.

I’m Rachel, a documentary-style wedding and elopement photographer based in Chattanooga, TN. I photograph weddings, elopements, and portraits for alternative, offbeat, and adventurous couples across Tennessee, the Smoky Mountains, and anywhere your love story takes us. No stiff poses, no cookie-cutter timelines. Just the real, weird, wonderful moments as they happen.

  • 10/10 elopement experience: Rachel is the best!

    We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Rachel as our elopement photographer! I’m not a fan of being in front of a camera, but she made us feel so comfortable from the very beginning. I was worried the day would feel more like a photoshoot than an elopement, but Rachel brought the magic so my husband and I could enjoy every moment.   • I'm based in Chattanooga, TN, and I love traveling for sessions! I regularly photograph in Knoxville, Nashville, Chattanooga, and throughout the Smoky Mountains. I'm always happy to travel further for the right adventure. Just ask!

  • Documentary and true-to-life, with a mix of posed formals woven in. I focus on capturing real, authentic moments as they unfold rather than a lot of stiff, posed shots, but I'll also make sure you get those classic, polished formal shots for the family members who want them. My goal is for your photos to feel like you, genuine emotion, real connection, and the little in-between moments that tell the full story of your day, alongside the timeless portraits you'll want to print and frame.

  • Reach out through my inquiry form with a few details about what you're looking for, and I'll follow up to chat about your vision, availability, and the right package for you. A signed contract and retainer secure your date.

  • For weddings and elopements, I recommend booking 6–12 months out, especially for popular dates and seasons. For portrait, family, senior, and maternity/newborn sessions, 2–4 weeks' notice is usually plenty, though earlier is always better if you have a specific date in mind.

  • I offer a range of packages across portrait, elopement, and wedding photography, so there's something to fit your needs and budget. Portrait sessions start at $450, elopement packages start at $950, and wedding packages start at $2,500. Once you inquire, I'll send over a full investment guide for you to look through, and I'll walk you through the details to help you find the best fit once we connect.

  • Yes! I offer high-quality prints and custom albums directly through me, so you don't have to guess at print quality or sizing. I'm happy to walk you through options once your gallery is ready. Plus, if you book an album package at the same time as your session, you'll get a 10% discount.
